Atlanta, Ga. (January 27, 2016) - The stretch drive to bring the great American sport of horse racing to Georgia earned a major victory today.
Both bills to legalize horse racing, SR135 and SB264, won solid majority votes in the Senate Regulated Industries and Utilities Committee.
We are extremely confident that with our strong bipartisan support we will secure the necessary votes to pass the Senate for the first time in state history. A full Senate vote is expected in the coming weeks.
