The final report of the Senate Preservation of Hope Scholarship Program Study Committee was released on Tuesday 22, December, 2015.
Chaired by Senator Brandon Beach, the report highlights the many benefits of legalizing the sport of horse racing in Georgia, one of a handful of states that continues to outlaw one of our nation’s oldest sports and traditions.

Senator Beach, in his closing remarks clarified that the horse racing bill is separate from the casino initiative and legislation would be decided on in the upcoming Georgia Legislative secession that beings on Monday 11, January 2016
